Fall Migration In Central Park

On Saturday, October 11th, members of the society embarked on a exciting bird walk led by Dr. Bert Harris. We met across from the American Museum of Natural History and ventured into Central Park around 7:30am. Although it was raining, we saw numerous migrating species. Some of the more notable birds were The Fox Sparrow, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and numerous Winter Wrens. For a complete list of birds sighted, click here.
